Travel Basketball season for grades 5-8 is almost upon us!
This Wednesday, October 5 at 5:00, parents can come by the Freeport Middle School gym to learn a bit more about how the league works. We encourage you to e-mail email@example.com to ask questions in advance, so we can better prepare for our meeting.
On October 12, we would like all 5th graders and kids who did not play in the travel league last year to come out to the FMS gym for our evaluation night. Because of limits placed on us by the league, we may have to make cuts or divide teams by skill level in order to field a team. There are no cuts in our rec leagues for kids through 6th grade. 5th grade boys begin at 5; girls and older boys begin at 6.
You can register for the leagues here. You can also register for basketball programs for younger children, grades 3-6 or K-2 onSaturdays or after school.
Sign up soon, as space is limited! (Travel Basketball registration ends on October 7th.)
